What? Why? How? In 2017, I wrote and published Goodbye, Europe? Hello, Chaos? Merkel’s Migrant Bomb. (Washington, D.C.: Daena Publications, 2017.) In 2018, the Spanish translation appeared: ¿Adiós, Europa? ¿Bienvenido El Caos?: La Bomba Migratoria De Merkel. (Same publisher.) In 2020, the German translation hit the streets: Überrollt: Europa, Deutschland und die Migrantenkrise. (Same publisher.) All three books are available from Amazon.
This publication dealt with the causes, the political background, and the effects of the United States’ deliberate destruction of Southwest Asia and North Africa. I tied it to a previously released work by a National Security State author, Kelly Greenhill. (Weapons of Mass Migration: Forced Displacement, Coercion, and Foreign Policy. Ithaca, N.Y.; Cornell University Press, 2010.) In my paperback, I showed how Greenhill’s volume was a plan for wrecking both the sending and receiving states. It discussed the use of migrants as a strategy for the ruination of entire countries. My analysis of her plan and its links to recent history were buttressed by 354 footnotes.
In short, I described an ethnopolitical nightmare for the European Union. The flood of illegal aliens, coming from across the Middle East, South Asia, North Africa were seeking and abusing sanctuary, mostly economic. Most were men. Some were terrorists.
I noted what drove these migrants. I asked: why, instead of seeking out nations with common ethnic and religious ties, did they head north and west, where few spoke their language or shared a common culture? In Goodbye, Europe! Hello, Chaos! Merkel’s Migrant Bomb, I provided an in-depth analysis of the migrant flood, its causes, and what it means for Europe. Building on arguments put forward in my previous work, Visas for Al Qaeda: CIA Handouts That Rocked the World (Washington, D.C.: Daena Publications, 2014.), I, an ex-State Department official and attorney revealed how U.S. foreign policy created the crisis. Destabilizing nations through invasion and espionage furthers U.S. goals in the Middle East, I asserted. Additionally, I observed that creating migrant waves guided northward and westward would destabilize the European Union in general, and Germany in particular. Germany’s own refugee program, designed to exploit migrants as cheap labor, made U.S. intelligence efforts all the easier. My insider knowledge of U.S. policy permeates this insightful, sometimes terrifying look at a world where migrants become weapons, nationalism is condemned, and civil liberties hang in the balance. I also predicted that one result of the illegal alien surge would drive European politics to the Right, a development which the Washington Post now decries.
Moreover, I was extremely critical of European countries’ attacks on their citizens who dared to question their governments’ policies. (One of Greenhill’s major points was that countries who had signed various agreements on asylum thus generated their own problems. Citizens naturally fought with each other about this (some welcoming migrants, others opposing them) and, also, with the migrants themselves.)
Yet, none of the politicians, such as German Chancellor (Prime Minister) Angela Merkel and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, who furiously blasted their own countrymen for opposing unrestricted immigration, never actually targeted the cause of it. They said not one word about the American wars intended to dehouse, deculturize, destabilize, and destroy Southwest Asia and North Africa.
And Then What Happened? Facebook and Twitter/X refused to advertise this book, for which I intended to pay. They claimed it violated Community Standards. And, of course, those businesses refused to explain what “standards” I had violated. Or how. Or why.
At the invitation of a good, progressive (real progressive, not fake!) contact, I traveled to Connecticut with a supply of books. I spoke at the University of Hartford and a nameless fellow in the audience denounced me as a racist hatemonger. (Presumably, he was one of those George Soros “Open Borders” types.) I don’t believe he had read my book.
Then, figuring my real market was Europe, inundated by the alien tidal wave, I sent copies of my publication to the anti-immigrant and European Union-opposed Alternative fűr Deutschland (Alternative for Germany) political party. Dead silence.
Later, in a surprising online dispute with attorneys Ava Benach (a six-foot, five-inch fat man who wears a dress) in D.C. and Margaret D. Stock (a high-school dropout, seemingly linked to lesbians) in Alaska, both viciously attacked me for writing my book, claiming there was no such thing as an illegal alien. Their published comments were a clear violation of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s ethics code. My complaint to that organization brought the statement that I, not they, had broken its rules by filing a complaint! (Naturally, I’m no longer a member of that biased group.)

COMMENT. While my detractors have done their best to blackball me, the books, in all three languages are still selling, both as print editions and as E-books. People who have actually read them and understand international affairs have been extremely complimentary.
Here’s a smattering of comments:

Goodbye Europe? Hello Chaos? I consider one of the very rare books that are so deeply and extensively researched and so widely and authentically sourced. It discusses frankly and uninhibitedly the worldwide wave of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers which flooded many European countries and threatened to break on our shores. The author unearthed the roots of the problems which caused that human deluge of millions. Mr. Springmann lays the blame on many factors including turmoil, political instability, unemployment, poverty, aspiring to better life and mainly violence and wars in Asian, North African and, in particular, Middle Eastern countries. He stresses that the major cause of the outflow of that flood is the United States’ foreign policy which he claims is bent on using the migrant waves as a “mass destruction weapon.” He reports many of the social, economic, cultural, demographical and political problems, legal and illegal, refugees created in each county especially nations of the European Union where serious crime rates has increased considerably. The author discusses in detail the problems each country faces separately then lumps all of them into one serious world crisis. He sharpens the focus narrowing the aperture on Germany, being the most important and populated European country, and uses it as an example of how the open-door policy for refugees and asylum seekers would tear the cultural and national fabric or a country by aliens whose presence threatens not only the unity of Germany but also the solidarity of the European Union. Thanks to my friend Greg who recommended that I read the book which, I in turn, recommend that every U.S. lawmaker, politician and even interested voters and laymen should read it. It is timely and comes in a propitious moment when the American debate on immigration, refugees and border protection is heating up. The book is a warning shot which directs attention to the migrant problems and as a reminder that solutions are urgently needed. The author offers some reasonable ones.

Michael Springmann has done it again! I was both shocked and angered by what I read. He warns us that Constitutional Governments in Europe are being assaulted internally by unelected administrative bureaucrats from the EU administrative state and externally by an international plot to destabilize the European Continents homogeneous culture through the forced migration of a hostile alien culture which cannot be integrated. This book is required reading for all those who are concerned to learn why, who and how these weaponized refugees, whose own countries are being destroyed, are encouraged to leave on a difficult 2000-mile journey to countries in Europe who do not want to receive them, while their own neighbors will not take them.

If you want to understand the "European Migrant Crisis" look no further than Goodbye Europe? Hello Chaos? It is required reading for everyone interested in current events. I fail to understand why the mainstream media do not tell these stories. Springmann also exposes the shadowy figures behind the scheme to destabilize the EU. It's time people took the blinders off their eyes and recognize what's happening. Invasions are invasions. History is full of this. We had better start paying attention for our own good. Read it NOW!
Remember, as George Schemel, S.J. once said: A book is a machine to think with.
J. Michael Springmann is an attorney, author, political commentator, and former diplomat, with postings to Germany, India, and Saudi Arabia. He previously authored, Visas for Al Qaeda: CIA Handouts That Rocked the World: An Insider’s View, recounting how the U.S. created and used Islamic Terrorism. Additionally, he penned Goodbye, Europe? Hello, Chaos? Merkel’s Migrant Bomb, an analysis of the alien wave sweeping the Continent. He currently practices law in the Washington D.C. Area. Internationally recognized as a knowledgeable pundit, he is a frequent commentator on Arab, Iranian, and Russian news programs.
Blacklisted by the US news media, he is also on the Ukraine’s “Enemies List”, having questioned, inter alia, that country’s refusal to honor the Minsk Accords and for stating that its government is Nazified.
Many thanks for your kind words in support of my article. I really appreciate crackerjack analysis
Bravo. You were prophetic. The books are standing the test of time. Maybe they are more relevant now than when you wrote them. The chickens are coming home to roost. I was in Germany in the summer of 2016 with the "notorious Holocaust deniers," siblings Monika and Alfred Schaefer. It was pretty obvious what was going on. All the "neoNazi" opponents of the massive Muslim and African influx had the term, "George Soros" close to the tips of their tongue.
