Amal (Hope) Clooney Pretends to be a Real Person

As the Arabs Say, Wallahi (I Swear to God).  Amal Ramzi Alamuddin, born in Beirut on February 3, 1978, is purportedly an attorney, activist, and champion of human rights.  When convenient. 

Yes, she opposes the Americans’ Bill of Rights, particularly the Right of the People to Keep and Bear Arms, she supports the Apartheid Entity that styles itself “Israel”, she wants to prosecute the president of Syria for “war crimes”, she refuses to sit on a panel to investigate “Israel” for similar matters, and she backs Hillary Clinton, noted murderer, war criminal, and human rights violator. 

Oh, Those Distressing Details.  After marriage to another pretend person, actor George Clooney in 2014 (the year Barack Obama, Hilary Clinton, and Victoria Nuland overthrew the Ukrainian government), Amal became the target of a 2016 article in ArabAmreica.com.  Titled Amal Clooney: A Figure of Hope for Everyone but the Palestinians, author Nisreen Eadeh then noted how politics overcame Amal’s supposed principles.  She wrote:  Amal and George threw “…a fundraiser for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton with Haim Saban – an Israeli-American mogul and who considers himself a “protector of Israel.”  Held at the Clooney mansion (location unspecified), attendance cost $34,000 per person.  Eadeh added: “Throughout Clinton’s [failed 2016 presidential] campaign, George Clooney and wife Amal have been fundraising for her and attending her events, including one where the cost to sit at Clinton’s table was $353,000. Haim Saban is also contributing enormous amounts of money to the Clinton campaign, at least $6.4 million to be exact.”

Noting Hillary’s background and Saban’s, Eadeh continued, saying:   In return for Saban’s generous contributions, Hillary Clinton wrote an open letter to the billionaire, expressing her horror over the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement and pledging to stop BDS in any way she can. Saban is also known as an advocate for “higher scrutiny” of Muslim Americans when he said last year: “I’m not suggesting we put Muslims through some kind of a torture room to get them to admit that they are or they’re not terrorists, but I am saying we should have more scrutiny.” 

And It Gets Better!  The same ArabAmerica.com (which seemingly has problems with continuity) did a volte face on May 4, 2022.  Leading off an article on the Ukraine and its war with Russia (High Powered Attorney Amal Clooney Takes a Human Rights Stand on Russia’s War on Ukraine), John Mason, Ph.D., who asserts he focuses on Arab culture, society, and history, penned:: “Amal Clooney has taken her concern about Russia’s attack on Ukraine to the United Nations Security Council. Ms. Clooney censored that body for ignoring the war crimes against the Ukrainian people, most notably women and children. As a champion of worldwide humanitarian causes, she lends her legal human rights expertise to confronting some of the most disturbing abuses of peoples’ basic human rights. “

Mason continued, quoting Amal as if she were the Delphic Oracle, imparting divine knowledge.  More cynical people might develop the idea that she is either pig stupid or paid by the war-mongering United States government out to destroy the Russian Federation.

Have A Read.  As she noted, “I still read news headlines not knowing how to process them. Could it be that thousands of children are being forcibly deported to Russia? Are teenage girls being raped in the street in front of their families and neighbors? Was a building that had the word ‘children’ painted on it bombed? Are civilians in Mariupol being systematically starved and tortured to death? Unfortunately, the answer is yes.”

Unfortunately, it gets worse. 

“Using the resources of her husband George Clooney’s Foundation for Justice, Ms. Clooney aims to “bring accountability to crimes committed during the current conflict.” She has also joined hands with an international legal task force to investigate Russian war crimes in Ukraine.  The work of that task force is to investigate war crimes inflicted by Russia’s military on the civilian population of Ukraine. She sees the struggle for justice as just as important and rigorous to implement as warfare itself.”

 Don’t Let Reality Intrude.  On Monday, May 9, 2022, the Russian Federation, target of Amal’s misguided propaganda, will celebrate its 77th Victory Day.  What’s that?  It’s a nationwide commemoration of the end of World War II, during which an estimated 27 million citizens of the old Soviet Union died to preserve Europe and save it from the Nazis.

Amal apparently doesn’t remember that.  But then, most people don’t. 

Nor does she seemingly have any knowledge of her adopted country’s efforts to abolish the existence, culture, and religion of Russia.  In 1994, it was then-president Bill Clinton’s statement to then-Russian president Yeltsin that NATO would not expand.  In 2022, NATO has increased in size and number of member states to the point where it has reached the western border of Russia—from the Baltic to the Balkans.  And it wants to add more:  the Ukraine; Sweden; Finland.

Former ambassador to the old Soviet Union, Jack Matlock, told the U.S. Senate 25 years ago that expanding NATO would be the greatest American foreign policy mistake since the end of the Cold War.  Too right.

Remember those NATO military exercises throughout the old Warsaw Pact countries, such as Dragoon Ride or the U.S. warships sailing into the Black Sea or the Air Force overflights in the region?  Amal probably doesn’t.  And she probably doesn’t remember the ease which just one mistake by her adopted country could ignite World War III.  Russia holds half the world’s supply of nuclear weapons.

The Donbass.  Amal also has other holes in her memory.  The Neo-Nazi led Ukrainian government murdered 14,000 ethnic Russians in the Ukraine’s breakaway eastern region.  She also has difficulties with that country’s leadership refusing to implement the Minsk Accords, devised by France and Germany.  That abortive pact provided for more autonomy for the Donbass and removal of heavy weapons from the conflict zone. 

Training.  RT reported that the U.S. has been training Ukrainian soldiers for the past eight years.  Why?  Amal has no public comment.

Mercenaries.  What are Amal’s views on the Ukraine’s efforts to recruit American citizens in the U.S. to “defend” itself.  This is a violation of settled U.S. law and a violation of the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

Conclusion.  Let’s end this by quoting an African journalist.  Amal Clooney is a fraud.  She’s a Kardashian of the legal world.
