But That’s Unamerican! Well, here’s a few reasons why it’s not, centered on a failed society, a failed country, and a failed Constitution.
Let’s start off with its more than silly national hymn. Besides being loaded with mawkish, foolish words, such as “Land of the Free and Home of the Brave” or “Blest with… Peace”, there’s the matter of the tune to which it is set: To Anacreon in Heaven, a parody of an 18th Century drinking song.
Normal people can’t sing it.
Here’s a few more thoughts.
· The United States doesn’t have universal healthcare. Most of the rest of the world does, except for a good bit of Africa, what used to be Eastern Europe, and Central and Southwest Asia. In America, if you’re sick, you pay to get well—or die. Even Medicare, the plan for those over 65, has severe and strict limits on what it covers. And you pay for that as well as any supplemental policies for what it does not cover.
· You want to go to college? You pay out of your own pocket or take on staggering amounts of debt—unlike Northern Europe, half of Latin America, and the Russian Federation. And if you have trouble with employment afterwards, you’re a crybaby for complaining about a choice of eating or paying down that debit.
· Simple things in the U.S. used to be easy. Need a locksmith? Pick up the telephone. Not anymore. Want to go somewhere around town? You drive, contributing to a day-long traffic jam. Why? There’s no useful public transportation. A friend, Al Ashendorf, once said: “Buses are for poor people.” In Europe, streetcars, buses, and subway trains go everywhere in town and out of town. And they’re relatively inexpensive. And you needn’t walk more than a few blocks to use them.
Here’s the Serious Political Stuff. According to a 2016 article in The Global Post, the United States is involved in between 0 and 134 wars around the world. Zero? The corrupt, illegitimate, incompetent, and racist Congress hasn’t declared war, as the U.S. Constitution requires, since 1941. One hundred thirty-four? Think about the destruction of Yugoslavia. Think about the destruction of Iraq. Think about the destruction of Libya. Think about the destruction of Syria. Think about the destruction of the Ukraine. Think about the destruction of Yemen. Think about the attempted destruction of Iran. Think about the attempted destruction of the Russian Federation.
All those wars? The Global Post continued: Surprising, right? In 2013, the US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) — one of the nine organizational units that make up the Unified Combatant Command — had special operations forces (SOFs) in 134 countries, where they were either involved in combat, special missions, or advising and training foreign forces. (Mostly this last thing, according to public statements.)
JSOC [Joint Special Operations Command], along with the Special Activities Division at the CIA, have been the leading edge of counterterrorism under Obama. [And I assume under his successors as well]. Journalists Dana Priest and William Arkin found that JSOC has carried out counterterrorism operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, Algeria, Iran, Malaysia, Mali, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, Somalia, Syria, and Yemen.
An anonymous source with close ties to JSOC gave Scahill an even more expansive list that included those countries along with Indonesia, Thailand, Colombia, Peru, and several countries in Eastern and Central Asia.
"The world is a battlefield and we are at war," the source told Scahill of the logic that drives JSOC. "Therefore the military can go wherever they please and do whatever it is that they want to do, in order to achieve the national security objectives of whichever administration happens to be in power."
All this war needs bases from which to operate. It’s just that no one knows how many there are. The best estimate seems to be somewhere between 800 and 1,000 facilities around the world. Seventy-nine years after World War II ended, the United States has armed forces still stationed among its former enemies Germany, Italy, and Japan.
And Then There’s Palestine.
In the 1920s and 1930s, after decades of invasion by Zionists, David Ben-Gurion, Zionist and first Israeli prime minister, and others planned the utter destruction of Palestine and the Palestinians. With the help of the United Kingdom and the United States, and despite the objections of the American Secretaries of State and War, the Jewish nationalist movement illegally created “Israel”. This process murdered thousands of Palestinians, destroyed their homes and buildings, seized their personal belongings and property such as orchards, fields, and livestock. Of those that lived, the Zionists, with American backing, forced 85% of the original inhabitants out—at gunpoint. Since then, the U.S. supported the Apartheid Entity with uncounted billions of dollars in military and economic aid, so that Israel now has universal health care and a standard of living equal to that of Europe. Israel freely sells vast quantities of products in America: Tribe and Sabra hummus along with Ahava beauty products sold here generate vast financial transfers to Zioland. (Cf. the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement for further details: BDS Movement |).
Deir Yassin Massacre of Palestinians
Controlled Discussion of Palestine in the United States. The American media manipulates and censors any reportage about what Israel has done and is doing to the Palestinians. Currently, besides omitting any analysis or history of Palestine, the newspapers, radio, and television here condemn Hamas’ efforts to retake the organization’s own country. They parrot Israeli propaganda, sorry, hasbara (explaining). The American government does as well. Hamas is a terrorist organization (and Israel isn’t). Hamas murdered 1200 Israelis at a music festival (when Israeli pilots flying American helicopters killed most of them by accident or on purpose). The phrase “From the River to the Sea”, meaning a Palestine free of enemy occupation, is really racist hate speech!
The media and government officials such as Joseph Biden, alleged president, and nitwit Congressmen such as Senator Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. (possibly a hidden homosexual) do all in their power to support Zionist murders, war crimes, and human rights violations. Graham has been idiot enough to demand that Israel do everything possible to destroy Hamas just like the U.S. used nuclear weapons on Japan. (For the record, the Zionist Entity has uncounted weapons of mass destruction.)
Politicians, whether Democrat or Republican, have fiercely attacked university students in at least half a hundred schools, who united and demonstrated against Zionist Israel’s genocide of Palestinians. They demanded that the university leadership crack down on the collegians, applauding the use of violent police measures, such as tear gas, pepper spray, and personal combat against them. Furthermore, they were pleased when the cowardly school administrations began suspending, ousting, and ejecting the students from their schools, including even their dormitory rooms.
The media and the professional pols, all backed by Israeli money and pressure, claimed that non-existent “outside agitators” were driving the protest movement (excluding pf course, the masked Jews who attacked the protest encampments).

COMMENT.
There’s nothing more I can say that wouldn’t land me in jail, except to urge all U.S. citizens before November to question each and every person running for any political office at any level about their views on a failed society, a failed government, and a failed Constitution. They should also demand that the media be broken up. Only about five or six organizations control what Americans see, and hear, and think. Newsrooms nationally as well as locally are cutting staff, allegedly to save money.
Ben Franklin, one of the Founding Fathers once said: We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.
Finally, Isaac Asimov, the science fiction writer, remarked: …these ignorant people, the most uneducated, the most unimaginative, the most unthinking among us, who would make themselves the guides and leaders of us all; who would force their feeble and childish beliefs on us; who would invade our schools and libraries and homes. I personally resent it bitterly.
As do I.
